Meet Elly Filho, Client Relations Manager at PC Survivors

What is your role at PC Survivors?
Client Relations Manager. Improving relationships with existing clients and starting relationships with new clients.

How long have you been with PC Survivors?
I started working for PC Survivors on May 25th,2019.

What does a typical workday look like for you?
I usually arrive early to have my coffee at the warehouse. I take this time as an opportunity to speak with my coworkers and get a sense of how a job has gone. I find that this insight comes in handy when I get feedback – particularly in the discussions about what went well and what needs improving.

On a typical day, I start by checking my emails and voicemails to see if I missed any messages from clients. Throughout the day, I divide my time between creating documents (certificates, invoices, etc.) and phone meetings with clients. I also use downtime in my office to update client accounts and answer client questions over the phone.

How has your career grown since starting with PC Survivors?
I am driven to be the best at what I do. Working for PC Survivors, I’ve been given an opportunity to develop my skills and take on some interesting projects. I have demonstrated experience and maturity, which has helped me gain exposure to different things. Getting exposure means that you have to show people that you are good enough and that you should be included. I have achieved this by being enthusiastic about trying different things, getting involved in projects and meetings outside of my ‘normal job’ description as well as being vocal with my opinion.

What’s something that you look forward to each day?
Every day brings something new and different. That surprise is motivating to me.

What’s your favorite part of being a member of PC Survivors?
Being able to work in a place that gives you a sense of freedom. To have bosses that appreciate you for your hard work, treat you with respect and consider you a friend – not just their employee.

What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I love to write (journals). I usually do it every day. Also, sketching. I’m quite talented. I have a major fear of basements.
